Clint’s wedding- Kelsey & Jack
September 18, 2008
Recently, I shot a wedding with my good friend clint. I was just there to goof off and have some fun shooting second hand. Everything went amazingly including the fact that his keys got locked in the trunk before the ceremony. Fortunately it was no major concern, just a little speed bump. The equipment wasn’t locked in and we had several hours before the ceremony and he was a member of AAA.

Jessica’s bridal
September 18, 2008
Everything got a little postponed this past week, because of vicious Ike. My wife and I are doing great, everything is up and running again. No severe damage to our place in Sugar Land. The yards were a little ugly but easy to pick up. We didn’t receive power ’til a couple days ago. Nothing to complain about, just had to put things on hold for a second. Fortunately we aren’t in an severe bind. We do have space, power and food if anyone needs anything.
Anyways, Jessica had her shoot last weekend. The weather worked with us and we got some cool images.

Happy Belated Birthday Clint
September 4, 2008
Yesterday was Clint’s birthday, a real friend. He’s a fellow photographer and a great guy . We went and just enjoyed the night.
This guy really helped me 2 days ago. I was in the wrong place and the wrong time and yea, my car bumped another. My car looked pretty bad, and it was drivable-ish … just making random nasty sounds. No one was hurt and these people were super relaxed and didn’t seem shady in any sense. We called the police everything went strangely smooth. There wasn’t the slightest argument. I ended up sitting in a car shop and would have been stuck there for a day. Not fun, bad ac, blurry tv, watching silly soaps, and old furniture. Things that tend push peoples buttons over time. Any ways, Clint happened to call me right then, I told the scenario, he picked me up in fifteen. Not too many people do that, I really really appreciate that.
Happy birthday again man.
About a week ago, Clint, Adam, and I went out and played with flash, in different light, playing with different ideas, testing some possibilities. Just used each other as models, and made strang faces. funner pictures that way. The first few are clint.

Adam Nyholt

lea & ryan’s wedding
September 2, 2008
I have to give Bethany ,a former bride of mine, all the credit for this wedding. She’s great friends with Lea and Ryan. I love it when a former bride of mine refers a bride to me and I get to see them at another wedding.
They got married Saturday at the Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church. Everyone was there to just enjoy each others. Everything went great…Good times.
Also, Gary Guy came out and helped a lot, shooting second hand. He took some awesome shots and helped me a few predicaments with the camera.

Sugar & Sophie
August 25, 2008
Last week when I got home, i got hit by a few ideas from the previous shoot with angela and nick, and their two Great Danes. I’ve always wanted to get some good fisheye images of my two dogs smelling the lens. I don’t treat either dog very nicely when people come over. I try to hide them as though I don’t have any. Pretend they aren’t there in the backyard, and proceed with the meeting. In the background you can hear them slightly scratchy at the door. It makes me blush slightly and it makes feel terrible when I hear them hoping to get in the AC. Sorry dogs. I love you both.
I don’t know why I didn’t ever think of this before, but I grabbed their favorite snack, held it behind the camera. They smelled around in search of the snack as I held down the shutter release. And yes they got the snack.

Elizabeth & Chad’s wedding
August 21, 2008
Elizabeth and Chad’s wedding went smooth. Jess an I hung out with the girls and the guys before the ceremony and neither Chad or Elizabeth were remotely nervous. Chad was very confident and relaxed. All the guys were just laughing and checking the clock ever now and then. Elizabeth was quite excited about the fact that she and chad were getting hitched. A lot of weddings have slight tention in the air before the ceremony. That wasn’t present, everybody was just excited. That’s pretty fun to be around. I wasn’t sure what to expect of their reception at the Tuscany, It was just recently finished, fortunately.

me pondering…hmm…

Amanda & Barrett’s wedding
August 20, 2008
It was ridiculously hot outside the afternoon of this wedding, which didn’t seem to be a factor in everybody enjoying themselves. I can’t imagine what it was like wearing in a tux or a wedding dress. My clothes were thoroughly drenched, and I don’t really sweat. Amanda was really smart and provided the transportation for the wedding party and the guests of the wedding. That made it a much better chance for everyone to be on time. We took several group shots outside, but had to make them extremely fast. It was a lot of fun because no one seemed to complain. Brett and Amanda really loved each other, however cliche that might sound. That shows up in the images and is that much more enjoyable.

Sara Love
August 18, 2008
Sara and Luke were relaxing to take photos of. They both liked to look camera, which is a plus. And they were both ridiculously cute.

Dr. Seuss?..

Angela & Nick
August 17, 2008
Honestly I had no idea what to expect out of this shoot. Angela called me asking about the shoot and her last question was “do you care we take a few with my dogs?” “Not at all” I said. “What kind of dogs do you have?” She told me…. “two great danes.” That wasn’t anything I as expecting, and was pretty exciting. Playing with those dogs was amazing.
This will be Angela and Nick’s first. It was pretty easy to sense how excited both of them about the baby on the way.
