Jennifer & Glenn’s wedding

Jennifer and Glenn got married at the Indian summer lodge last weekend. Fortunately weather was awesome because the ceremony was outside. The reception stayed alive the whole night with the band jamming.
Ryan Terry met with us and shot second. He did a great job and I chose several of his images to post. His images got tagged with his logo.

Jessica & Eric’s wedding

Jessica and Eric got married at the Holy Rosary, we celebrated after the ceremony at the Hotel Icon. everything went great and was a pretty smooth including the fact Jessica’s car had broke down that morning. They were able to work around it and laugh it off. The coordinator, a day to remember, was fun work with,  Jessica and I picked her for the day of our wedding 4 years ago. She’s certainly a reference.  

Michelle’s bridal- don’t look Jeremy!

Michelle and I met at hotel Icon last Friday. Hotel Icon was very giving, and respectful. I truly appreciate that.  That place gives an insane number of photo ops. Michelle wanted to see these on the blog, but didn’t want it on my blog, to prevent Jeremy(her fiance`) from stumbling across it. CLINT was photographing at the shoot second hand, he made the environment that much more enjoyable. He also did one of his phenomenal favors and posted it for me. Clint’s shoot- Shalla & Chris’s engagement

This past weekend clint (an awesome photographer and friend of mine) shot an engagement. I shot it second hand, we shoot around second for each other. Clint found a different area with perfect light downtown. I was a little hesitant about the building, wasn’t sure how stable the structure was, since the building next door had a wall collapse. It’s easy to enjoy shooting with Clint, very funny guy.

Lacey & Jason’s engagement

Lacey & Jason were very fun to be with. Both have a very busy schedule and I was glad to be able to fit this in. You may remember them from Lindsay & Chad’s Wedding, Lacey is Lindsay’s sister. I am looking forward to their wedding in two weeks in sunny California, keep updated for that.

Kyle & Kristen

Saturday morning things were starting to jump back into gear, fortunately Kyle and Kristen were open and didn’t have to shift. The downtown area we wanted to shoot in was in great condition. Kristen wanted to have a few more fun shots in her wedding dress. (it happened)  We happened to stumble across a chair sitting in a grassy field.   It looked nice but the main questions were,  was how dry clean and was it stable, especially after ike?  It was bone dry and clean for the most part.  The lighting was perfect. 

Renee & Josh’s engagement

Renee & Josh had initially planned to have the shoot at Northwest Forrest but that facility was still in progress cleaning up from ike. We ended up shooting in a park close to the Northwest Forrest, which worked out fine. Renee & Josh took me to a railroad close by. It seemed awesome at first. When we got out of the car, we got attacked by some large, black, blood hungry bugs; (the biggest mosquitoes I’ve never seen). It started “clapping time”. A large can of OFF would have been nice. It didn’t ruin the shoot, just sped things up a little.

Carla & Van, expecting

About a week ago, Carla and Van met with me. We met at Clark Lara’s and 31 Film’s office to shoot Carla’s maternity.  Carla and Van got married in April last year and we got to photograph their wedding.  I just wanted to thank Clark and 31 films for letting us use their studio in Magnolia, pretty close to the woodlands.  Carla is about 8 month’s pregnant and looks great.

Clint’s wedding- Kelsey & Jack

Recently, I shot a wedding with my good friend clint. I was just there to goof off and have some fun shooting second hand. Everything went amazingly including the fact that his keys got locked in the trunk before the ceremony. Fortunately it was no major concern, just a little speed bump. The equipment wasn’t locked in and we had several hours before the ceremony and he was a member of AAA.

Everything got a little postponed this past week, because of vicious Ike.  My wife and I are doing great, everything is up and running again.  No severe damage to our place in Sugar Land.  The yards were a little ugly but easy to pick up.  We didn’t receive power ’til a couple days ago.  Nothing to complain about, just had to put things on hold for a second.  Fortunately we aren’t in an severe bind. We do have space, power and food if anyone needs anything.  

Anyways, Jessica had her shoot last weekend.  The weather worked with us and we got some cool images.
