The Pink Bunny

I noticed this in Mexico and in England. What is Duracell doing with a pink bunny?!? They have pink furry bunny for their new logo/mascot. I thought that was Energizer’s thing! Copyright? Why not use a green teddy bear or something else? I have to say that’s a lack of orignality on Duracell’s part. Shame on you Duracell.

Out of town

River Pointe Church- Cranu competition

This past Sunday, I was able to shoot the annual Cranu event at River Pointe Church. It is a test of your skills of a combination of canoeing and croquet. It was very intense. The church has a picnic to play, relax and watch the games. There were also a bunch of cute kids. I look forward to attending next year’s event. Maybe I will see you there.

Mexico, Baby!!!

I will be in Mexico for a wedding until June 7th. I know I have a hard job, try not to be jealous. Look for an update when I get back.

Field Trip

Me and a couple of my good friends, Chip Gillespie and Craig Davis, went out on a random photography trip. It very relaxing to just lay back and play with the camera ever now and then. We drove down to Wallis, Tx, a town that has one little section that has got a lot of potiential when it comes to photography.

Chocolate + Dog = Bad

We have a sly little Miniature Pinscher that made Jessica end her birthday on a weird note. When we got back from Outback and she entered the door, I heard her yell “Oh My GOSH!”. I ran in, looked down and there was wrapper for a massive (1/2lb) chocolate bar completely devoured. A student of hers had given her this for her birthday. She left it on the kitchen table not thinking anything of it. Sugar, the dog, managed to get up there obviously. She weighs 10 lbs and ate a half a pound of chocolate. This chocolate bar would make me sick! Sugar is fine fortunately.

Dangerous Bridal Shoot

As we were walking along the path in the Mercer Arboretum shooting Shantua’s bridal, I heard a lady behind me whisper “look at that snake”. I looked down and… oh look.. a COPPER HEAD! It was about a 1 1/2 feet long and about 4 away. It was bareley noticable, slithering across the steps that I was just about to take some photos on.

Cool chance for some extreme close up shots, but I stayed back and did the zoom in thing. For safety’s sake.

Next time I go to the Mercer Arboretum, I’m gonna wear rubber boots.
