Michelle & Jeremy’s engagement
May 13, 2008
Sunday evening was perfect weather opposed to Saturday, ridiculously heated. It took a few shots to get Michelle to get comfortable with a camera following her around. Jeremy was a natural, it’s almost the always the opposite.

Amber & Kevin’s engagement
May 5, 2008
Kevin and Amber were pretty out going and not afraid to show affection, making the shoot a lot of fun. The Japanese garden is officially no longer accessible by pro photographer which made us do a little more wondering than normal. As a result we found few new locations.

Jennifer & JB’s engagement
March 25, 2008
Saturday was perfect conditions for what we planned for the day. We started out in downtown shot a few and then headed down to Kemah to go cruising out on the bay. This first shot is Jennifer’s nephew. Her sister, and family met up with us to eat at the Hardrock to have a quick lunch.
Good luck?

2.6 carats !!

Elva & Will’s engagement
March 13, 2008
Sunday ended with Elva and Will’s shoot, and it was a pretty sweet note to end it on. Elva & Will were really laid back and willing to do whatever. And all I have to say is thank GOD for the Nikon D3. The majority of the shoot was shot after sunset and would have been pretty difficult with the old camera.

Lisa & Josh’s engagement
March 6, 2008
Third time’s a charm. This Tuesday was the third attempt on their engagement pics. The first time Josh was sick and the weather was terrible and the second time Lisa was under the weather. The shoot went fairly smooth until I entered the parking garage of the Houston Chronicle. There were some interesting chains that I wanted to shoot through. As the photos were being taken, one lady, a security guard I had to assume, was having a bad day and decided to take it out on me. We walked around the corner and got a better angle though the chains anyway.
I’m liking these reeds.

This is where they met, at the Home Plate bar across the street from the Minute Maid Park.
One more dip.
Laura & Brian’s engagement
February 26, 2008
Sunday was a beautiful day, I don’t think the groundhog saw his shadow. It was incredibly warm that afternoon in the good old Herman Park. Unfortunately, Brian was a little under the weather. After shooting a little while we almost called a day and postponed the rest of the shoot. He didn’t let it hold him down and we ended up having a pretty fun shoot.

Elena & Arturo’s engagement
February 17, 2008
Friday I thought for sure that this shoot was going be postponed to a later date. With dark gray clouds in sky, and a strong chance of rain, it wasn’t looking very promising. Elena & Arturo didn’t seem to care and were willing to go out and give it a try. The rain was very off-and-on, which was a plus. Fortunately, whenever it started to rain there happened to be a cover fairly close to run to. The shoot went great.

Lea & Ryan’s engagement
February 12, 2008
February has turned out to be a pretty camera friendly month, I know saying this will probably ruin my luck for the shoot Friday. I’ll just hope and pray for the best. Lea & Ryan were a bunch of fun, not afraid to do whatever, which makes the shoot flow and more fun for the both of us. They were just there to have a good time. We stopped by a nice Italian restaurant Little Napoli, had a pretty good dinner afterwards. Thanks guys!

Chris & Toni’s engagement
February 11, 2008
This past Saturday was awesome. Chris and Toni’s engagement shoot was all over Galveston. We had a good time driving around finding random locations which gave us some cool shots.

Leah & Tim’s engagement
February 7, 2008
We started the shoot pretty late yesterday evening. Which was nothing to worry about, because it just proved how phenomenal the Nikon D3 is. Leah and Tim I had a great time with you. I can’t wait for the wedding.
