Dawn’s Bridal

October 15, 2008

This shoot certainly made me proud.  Dawn was very beautiful and she made it able to shoot her bridal in the Rice Hotel.  Dawn and her mother were very trusting in my suggestions, making the images fun.  It was a beautiful day and the balcony had perfect lighting, it was large and comfortable with a phenomenal view in downtown.

Lea’s bridal

July 28, 2008

We had originally decided on a different location for her bridal. Leah happened to drive by St. Martin’s, earlier that day, checked out the place and yea. Honestly I’d never heard of this church.  It looks like a cathedral from England, minus the red bricks.

Amanda’s bridal

July 16, 2008

This past Sunday evening was nice.  The typical Houston heat was present, but it got nicer as the sun said bye.  I met with Amanda at a nice location outside of downtown to see the skyline. After shooting around on the bridge we stepped foot into some nice AC at the Rice Hotel.

Krystal’s bridal

Friday evening was a beautiful day. The clouds were working with us for some perfect light. Krystal looked beautiful and was willing to anything for a great picture. We are looking forward to the wedding in Galveston at the end of June.

Lindsay’s Bridal

March 2, 2008

I had a great time with Lindsay and her mom this weekend. Lindsay has a great laugh and it shows in the pictures. Little girls kept coming up and asking Lindsay if she was a princess. I think that is every girl’s dream. Can’t wait until the wedding!!lin_ben_00191.jpglin_ben_0017.jpg

Shasta’s bridal

January 10, 2008

Shasta was beautiful today.  We walked around Uptown Park this afternoon with some awesome weather, compared to yesterday of nasty cold rain, today was perfect.  The were the bluest skies, it was a great temperature and this girls eyes are piercing. No regrets spending a silly amount of money this past month purchasing the D3 and the 85 f/1.4.  The saturation and contrast of the images straight out of the camera are phenomenal.  I hardly enhanced any of these images, believe it or not.  There was a lot of natural vignetting going on.  shasta_26.jpgshasta_24.jpgshasta_25.jpgshasta_23.jpgshasta_22.jpgshasta_21.jpgshasta_20.jpgshasta_19.jpgshasta_18.jpgshasta_17.jpgshasta_16.jpgshasta_15.jpgshasta_14.jpgshasta_13c.jpgshasta_12.jpgshasta_11.jpgshasta_10.jpgshasta_09.jpgshasta_08.jpgshasta_07.jpgshasta_06.jpgshasta_05.jpgshasta_04.jpgshasta_03.jpgshasta_02.jpgshasta_01.jpg

This shoot was just amazing.  We got down to Galveston just in time for some beautiful light. Other then getting there a little late, everything went according to plan. Bethany and Josh were AWESOME! bj32.jpgbj03.jpgbj02.jpgbj04.jpgbj08.jpgbj06.jpgbj05.jpgbj09.jpgbj07.jpgbj10.jpg bj11.jpgbj16.jpgbj19.jpgbj17.jpgbj18.jpgbj23.jpgbj13.jpgbj14.jpgbj15.jpgbj21.jpgbj25.jpgbj24.jpgbj20.jpgbj33.jpgbj12.jpgbj27.jpgbj30.jpgbj34.jpgbj28.jpgbj29.jpgbj26.jpg
