Merry Christmas!!
December 26, 2008
We’ve been trying to hold this secret for a few weeks. It leaked out of my big mouth a couple times, making me scared the info would reach our parents. Jess and I both thought sharing the news with our parents (all new grandparents) would make an awesome Christmas gift. It worked out. Both set of our parents were caught way off guard and only shocked with joy. It really made Jess and I feel very proud( I kinda blushed) watching our parents realize the gift. Thank you LORD for blessing us with this opportunity. LORD let us only be wise with our future steps as this child develops, and only set the right example for our child.
The ultra sound is the first ultra sound at about 8 weeks along and the baby is due July 20th. We don’t know the gender yet, but am extremely excited and only plan and wish for the best of this child. Plus our parents are extremely anxious.

Amanda & Rocks’s Engagement
December 20, 2008
Amanda & Rock met with me over at the hardrock downtown. They tried to get comfortable in front of the camera as the shoot progressed. They did a pretty good job.

Ashley & Jason’s wedding
December 19, 2008
Ashley and Jason didn’t have a care in the world other than to just relax and enjoy the night. That’s a good recipe for a nice wedding.
Congratulations!

Elena & Arturo’s Wedding!!
December 17, 2008
This wedding was a phenomenal to experience. Both Elena and Arturo had a strong sincere love for each other, as well as the family did.
Elena’s health had turned for the worst so the wedding was pulled from the 27th of Dec to the day after Thanksgiving. Ryan Terry came along and shot with me, going crazy with the camera as we both tried to soak up every bit of the event. They got married in Honduras at a Spanish mansion in the beautiful rainforest covered mountains. Unbelievable.

the Bean family
December 10, 2008
We met in a park convenient for both parties. We took advantage of what little light was left and got busy taking pics.
Hopefully some of these pics say “merry Christmas!”

This is Ryan and Kammie Terry. An awesome couple who got married at the end of August in 07.

the Biggs Family
December 9, 2008
The Biggs played around and had fun getting some family pics for the Christmas cards.

Katy & Joel’s wedding
December 9, 2008
Katy is my sister and I love her very much. It was great to be able to spend some time with the family, and get to photograph her wedding. The family tree is a widely scattered through the US. Seeing everyone at once is not a common occurrence. Joel is a genuine man, and I think a wise choice on my sister’s part. I love you both and do want the best for you both.

Lisa and Josh’s wedding
December 9, 2008
Lisa and Josh’s wedding was great. The timeline almost got thrown off, but everything flowed. They got married at the Holy Rosary and then had the lively reception at the Majestic Metro. Gary Guy, a fellow photographer, shot second hand and did an excellent job.
Congratulations, you guys!

Elizabeth & Marlon’s wedding
December 7, 2008
Mexico was extremely beautiful. Elizabeth and Marlon truly appreciated each other. The weather was a little bit of a concern, but it turned out nice making the ceremony flow.

Headed to the reception from the beach, a huge exotic bird caught my the corner of my eye. I immediately went into ninja mode, becoming as quiet and nimble as possible. The bird never seemed to flinch as I slowly approached in the shadows.

It was hilarious and a bit disappointing at the same time. It happened to be a random pair of boxers hanging perfectly on the bush to look like a bird. Funny, yet kinda gross.

The Foundry
December 5, 2008
The past couple of weekends, the Foundry had me come into the morning service and take some pictures of their church. They have two campuses, one is their church they were blessed with, the second one is at a local theatre where they are in the process of expanding. Both locations are beautiful.

I like black and white.

This is the main chuch.
