Dawn & Brett’s wedding

October 31, 2008

Dawn and Brett were extremely fortunate to have this wedding. Their original plans for the wedding got ruined after another companies misfortune. There was an excellent cushion to already to fall back on. The ceremony was tremendously sincere. Everyone had some tears of joy in appreciation of event happening. The location was a little far, but certainly worth it.

We wandered throughout the museum district and shot some images all over the place. Jordan stayed very comfortable throughout the shoot, he was just kinda curious who the man was that had the big black thingy in-hand. My wife, Jessica, came and shot a few, and was very helpful. She stayed back and zoomed in. I brought the camera very close to shoot a few, making Jordan feel awkward.
Heather and Roger were put on the friends list in the cell phone. They were awesome to be around.

Lisa’s bridal

October 28, 2008

It was a perfect afternoon in downtown, besides the fact that it was Friday and everyone was hurried home in traffic. Lisa was willing and cheerful throughout shoot. You could tell she was only excited for the future, and couldn’t believe it was already her time for her bridal. We started in downtown, then headed to the Holy Rosary down the street.

Mike & Lisa’s engagement

October 28, 2008

We met in a pretty park close to Lisa’s house. Prompted the dogs to smile, and snapped a few. After getting that out of the way, we headed to downtown. Dragging the dogs to downtown felt wrong, so we only used the park for that. Had some fun with the shoot with Mike and Lisa, and ended the shoot with excellent burgers at Lucky’s. Lot-o-fun?, yes.

The dogs aren’t more important, they were just very cute.

Renee & Josh’s wedding

October 24, 2008

April Sound was where the ceremony, and reception was. Fortunately it wasn’t the hottest day of the year, but it was some of the brightest light. Cool air blew in off the water close by, making the ceremony outside fairly comfortable. The light was so bright we had to postpone the family and wedding party photos to make the water and beautiful backdrop; which was why the coupled got married at April Sound. Everyone was respectful and helped the shoot flow as fast as possible about an hour later.

Lacey & Jason’s wedding was in a beautiful location, Wente, a very nice vineyard in middle of “wine country” in California. The day before Lacey invited us to San Francisco for some site seeing. The city was surprisingly crowded. It didn’t prevent us, the crowd only made it feel cumbersome wonder the city. It was “fleet week”, the blue angels were currently preforming when we arrived. Very popular. Earlier that morning, the men went to Wente and got to play some golf in a phenomenal area. One of the most beautiful. It was an extremely  professional course, leaving no room for any error.   Kinda pressuring.  Distracting them was not  my intention. Trying to be discrete as possible, in an extremely quiet place, I took advantage of the zoom lens I had handy.

The night of the wedding the weather was perfect for the most part, making an awesome ceremony possible. Unfortunately there were chilly winds, pretty powerful, and waiting to arrive when the sun left for the day. Fortunately they had heaters making the outside reception more bare-able. After the dark had arrived, Lacey decided to pull her reception inside, worrying for the joy of the attendants. I appreciate her concern. The party stayed alive walking inside, and everyone felt the fun environment.
I only wish for the better with You and Jason, congratulations.
Fortunately, Lacey had received my information, resulting from her sister, Lindsay, who was previously married this year in March. Her family has blessed this business in many ways. Many more than I desserve. That is truly appreciated buy us.

Dawn’s Bridal

October 15, 2008

This shoot certainly made me proud.  Dawn was very beautiful and she made it able to shoot her bridal in the Rice Hotel.  Dawn and her mother were very trusting in my suggestions, making the images fun.  It was a beautiful day and the balcony had perfect lighting, it was large and comfortable with a phenomenal view in downtown.

After fighting our way though the Hurricane and rush hour traffic Friday, Khon-Whey and Sue Anne were able to meet me at the Lucky’s pub downtown and get started with the shoot. The weather was strangely nice, making perfect to flow through an engagement shoot.  The parking was a bit crazy because of the baseball game, and we had to ignore several men with orange flags, making the parking a little weird. Those were the only minuses.

Jennifer and Glenn got married at the Indian summer lodge last weekend. Fortunately weather was awesome because the ceremony was outside. The reception stayed alive the whole night with the band jamming.
Ryan Terry met with us and shot second. He did a great job and I chose several of his images to post. His images got tagged with his logo.

Christina and Justin met with me at Hardrock Cafe downtown. Downtown was looking pretty for the most part. The verizon wireless theatre, next door to the Hardrock was running a fund raiser for the hurricane. It extremely popular. It was a little awkward to meet there. You had to scream to talk. That was the only flaw, Justin and Christina had an awesome time and it shows in the pictures.
