Chris & Toni Wedding! Lake Tahoe

Last weekend was a long one, but well worth with. Chris and Toni got married June 20th at the Edgewood resort on the lake. It was a gorgeous. Everyone there was a blast to just hangout, let alone take pictures of. I couldn’t have ask for a more beautiful day. It was about 72 degrees outside and several people were complaining it was hot, I just kinda laughed at them, knowing they weren’t from Houston.
This first shot was from the side of the road leaving Carson city. The roads through the mountains were really windy. Which I normally wouldn’t complain about, it was just the steering in my rental car was very loose.

Last Sunday we wondered through the warehouse area behind the George R. Brown and found some pretty cool backdrops. We went to Lucky’s afterwards for dinner. Thanks guys. I’m looking forward to the wedding in September!

This past weekend River Pointe Church had their last Cranu competition. It’s a combination of canoeing and croquet. There was also a massive church wide picnic going on at the same time.
Dawn & Brett’s engagement

Dawn and Brett were amazing. They had a lot of chemistry. Sunday morning there was a pretty big game for the Astros making downtown a little busy. It was little funny. We were playing the Cardinals, our rivals, and more and more people were parking close by us to go to the game. 95% of the people who had parked close by were Cubs fans, fully dressed in Cub paraphernalia!?! Any ways, I couldn’t have ask for a better shoot.
It rained for a second right after this shot. Fortunately we were close to a cover to run under.

Friday evening was gorgeous, awesome light for any type of shoot. It was a bit gusty though. That gave us some pretty cool images with the cathedral veil. We did need another hand to control it though.

Sunday I dropped by Daniel & Lauren’s place to shoot a few of their precious son Jace. Jace was pretty interested with the camera. Whenever I’d get really close with the camera he would just stare in fascination.
