Raya & Eli’s engagement

I got a little behind the blog. We did this shoot last Monday in Herman Park. We had a pretty good time just wondering though Herman Park and then snapping a few night shots in downtown, which is where they met.

Lindsay & Bryan’s engagement

Sunday morning started out as a perfect day, as the shot progressed, the sun was getting more and more intense. And unfortunately Brian was a little under the weather. It doesn’t show in the pics though. Besides that the shoot was pretty sweet.

 

April & Eddie’s Wedding

Saturday April & Eddie got married at the Paraiso Maravilla.  They were easy and fun to work with.  It was a beautiful day but not everything went very smoothly, as I typically say.  Everything was going great until the time of the ceremony.  Virtually everything was ready except for one thing.  The pastor hadn’t arrived yet.  He arrived 20 minutes past the time that the ceremony was supposed to start and just strolled in nonchalantly.  Once the ceremony got started it seemed to go much longer than planned.  Throughout the ceremony the couple was ask to state their vows three different times, which I thought that was a little weird and so did the couple.  After that everything went great.  It’s just something to look back and laugh at.  The reception was awesome and pretty laid back.  Jess and I had a great time with you guys. Congratulations!

A friend of mine, Joey (31films) called me the other day asked for a photo of the staff, and at the same time have a quick little shoot of him and his wife Natalie.  I met up with them Monday at their office in the Woodlands, I’d never been there, and WOW.  I didn’t take any shots of the place but man, I was really impressed.  We shot a few in a park close by, had a bite at Chuy’s and then headed to downtown Conroe to shoot a few of the staff.     These guys, Chris & Julie, just got engaged recently.       

Jaime’s Maternity Pictures

Reece & Andria

This past Saturday Reece and Andria got married at the big Second Baptist in Houston.  They both were pretty relaxed and virtually everything went according to plan.  It did rain for a bit but it didn’t hurt anything.  The reception was at the Maggiano’s Little Italy, a very fine italian restaurant next to the galleria. ‎ It was really laid back and about the only thing that was typical for a reception was the fact that they cut a cake.  She didn’t want the traditional reception.
