Cindy’s senior pics

April 29, 2008

Thursday afternoon Cindy met up at Hard Rock to shoot a few downtown.  We were intending to shoot around downtown and then go to get a couple in front of the university (St. Thomas).  We ended up finishing at the campus the Next afternoon because of ridiculous traffic.

We were just shooting the last bit of pics in downtown, and I had just parked across the street. It was 5 minutes before the legal period of time to park.  We saw a cop out the corner of our eyes pulling someone over right behind my car and didn’t think anything of it. I looked back over at the car and… CRAP!  I didn’t get a picture of it because I was running as fast as I could.  My car was being towed away!  It’s free to park there after 6. It was 5:58. A wee bit silly I might say!?! The cop didn’t think so.  The car didn’t get towed but I still ended up with a $65 ticket.  It was across the street from a federal building which seems to amplify the offense. Besides that I enjoyed the shoot.

Friday morning I got to swing by Jason’s place and take to some fun pics of his cute kids, Sara and Luke.

Bobbie’s senior pics

April 29, 2008

This past weekend wasn’t very beneficial to my post production and editing.  My main computer decided to retire.  It was not a happy moment.  This kinda set me back a little of the blog posting.  Everything is up and running again thanks to the Apple store! Anyways, last Tuesday Bobbie and I met at the good old Herman and shot a few around park.

On this shoot I brought along a good friend Ryan Terry. Ryan finally got his hands on a camera that he’s been lusting after for a while, the D300. He got to test it out and break it in a bit. Luckily it was a beautiful day and a great couple.  This first shot is one of Ryan’s pics.

Ryan going at it.

One more of Ryan’s pics.

Diana and Joseph had pretty wild reception after the ceremony at the Bella Terraza Saturday.  Their dj, Lewis Grell(LG Entertainment) had the music flowing and kept the party alive all night.

Phenomenal cake!

Dianna’s brother wasn’t able to make it so he made a surprise video that played after the slideshow of images from the past to current had finished.

Kay, Karen, & Sharon

Kay White contacted me to shoot a few images of her and sisters while everybody was in town.  It wasn’t very hard to make these girls laugh.

Seth Anderson

April 21, 2008

Last week when we did this shoot, Seth was 23 days old.  Seth is Scott and Misti’s son, who got married almost a year ago.  Once Seth was got fed he went into sleepy mode.  We tried to get a shot with their pet bunny, but the bunny was a bit camera shy.

I have been doing a lot of senior pictures lately and here is another one. Look for more later this week. It was a wee bit windy but we still managed to get some great pictures .

Tuesday Brooke (Hillary & Megan’s friend) and her husband, Cameron, met me at Herman Park. Cameron is a Marine which I truly admire. That’s a bit of an accomplishment. Brooke was really relaxed and just let me go crazy with camera.  We ended the shoot with some engagement type shots and got some cool images.

The first time I was told about this couple’s plan for their engagement shoot I was pretty excited and little shocked. Glenn’s father flew me down to New Orleans last Sunday and we met up in downtown. New Orleans was anything but disappointing.  Every other block had the rustic urban look going. The flight down their was pretty amazing.  Sunday was the last day of a festival so we expected it to be kinda busy but not as insanely busy as it was.  But as a result we able to get some pretty cool crowd shots.

I heard some funny comments behind me as people walked by.
