Wednesday I met Austin (Shasta’s little brother) down in Monte Belvieu to shoot a few.  The shoot went really smooth and pretty quick.  Everything went great until I pulled into my driveway.  Looking over at the passenger seat I realized it was empty.  It just hit me that I took off and left my bag of lenses on the golf cart in Monte Belvieu….. whoops!  I called the Eagle Pointe golf club immediately and they had it in their possession already.  That could of hurt.  austin_001.jpgaustin_002.jpgaustin_003.jpgaustin_004.jpgaustin_005.jpg austin_006.jpgaustin_007.jpgaustin_008.jpg

Saturday was perfect conditions for what we planned for the day.  We started out in downtown shot a few and then headed down to Kemah to go cruising out on the bay.   This first shot is Jennifer’s nephew.  Her sister, and family met up with us to eat at the Hardrock to have  a quick lunch. jenjb_000023.jpgjenjb_000022.jpgGood luck? jenjb_000021.jpgjenjb_000020.jpgjenjb_000019.jpgjenjb_000018.jpgjenjb_000017.jpgjenjb_000016.jpgjenjb_000015.jpgjenjb_000014.jpgjenjb_000012.jpg2.6 carats !! jenjb_000011.jpgjenjb_000010.jpgjenjb_000009.jpgjenjb_000008.jpgjenjb_000007.jpgjenjb_000006.jpgjenjb_000005.jpgjenjb_000004.jpgjenjb_000003.jpgjenjb_000002.jpgjenjb_000001.jpg

This wedding a blast from beginning to end.  Everything went great except for one thing in the ceremony, one ring was forgotten at the alter.  It wasn’t obvious at all to anyone watching, but the paster had to take off his own wedding band and it used as a temporary replacement.  The couple just laughed it off after the ceremony and went on have a great party at a really nice house of a friend. lincha__00027.jpglincha__00019.jpglincha__00031.jpglincha__00032.jpglincha__00030.jpglincha__00016.jpglincha__00025.jpglincha__00024.jpglincha__00006.jpglincha__00004.jpglincha__00020.jpglincha__00015.jpg lincha__00026.jpg lincha__00014.jpg lincha__00028.jpglincha__00002.jpglincha__00005.jpg lincha__00009.jpglincha__00029.jpg lincha__00011.jpg lincha__00012.jpglincha__00023.jpglincha__00021.jpglincha__00022.jpg lincha__00017.jpglincha__00018.jpglincha__00010.jpglincha__00013.jpg  lincha__00007.jpglincha__00008.jpg

Wednesday was great.  We started the shoot in the Japanese Garden and then drove a little further down main to down town.  When we walked in the Japanese Garden and a worker stopped us and ask “are you a professional photographer?!?” ….”uuhh yea?” I replied.  He then said, “Did you know no pro photographers are aloud in here now?”  Obviously I didn’t, therefore I wouldn’t have set the shoot for that location.  He just kinda winked at the girls and said “go ahead.”  That was the first nice encounter I had with a Japanese Garden employee.  From there on the shoot was amazing!  This first shot is Meghan.hil_meg_00101.jpghil_meg_0011.jpghil_meg_0012.jpgdwh_5431.jpgdwh_5692.jpghil_meg_0001.jpghil_meg_0003.jpghil_meg_0004.jpghil_meg_0006.jpghil_meg_0005.jpghil_meg_0008.jpghil_meg_0009.jpghil_meg_0007.jpghil_meg_0001b.jpg ”Don’t touch me…” hil_meg_0014.jpghil_meg_0013.jpg hil_meg_0015.jpghil_meg_0016.jpghil_meg_0017.jpghil_meg_0018.jpghil_meg_0020.jpghil_meg_0019.jpghil_meg_0022.jpg  hil_meg_0023.jpghil_meg_0026b.jpg hil_meg_0021.jpgWe almost got hit there, We thought is a red light, but no.  hil_meg_0024.jpg hil_meg_0025.jpg

Sunday ended with Elva and Will’s shoot, and it was a pretty sweet note to end it on.  Elva &  Will were really laid back and willing to do whatever.  And all I have to say is thank GOD for the Nikon D3.  The majority of the shoot was shot after sunset and would have been pretty difficult with the old camera.    elvwil_012.jpgelvwil_009.jpgelvwil_007b.jpgelvwil_005.jpgelvwil_011.jpgelvwil_008.jpgelvwil_006.jpgelvwil_003.jpgelvwil_010.jpgelvwil_004.jpgelvwil_001.jpgelvwil_013.jpgelvwil_002.jpg

This past Sunday was a little crazy.  The day was started with some family pics and then Maycie’s senior portrait. We just did a little walking downtown and fortunately it was a beautiful day.   white_001.jpgwhite_003.jpgwhite_002.jpgwhite_004.jpgwhite_007.jpgwhite_006.jpgwhite_005.jpgMaycie’s Senior Pics– maycie_04.jpgmaycie_08.jpg  maycie_01.jpgmaycie_07.jpgmaycie_02.jpgmaycie_03.jpg maycie_06.jpgmaycie_05.jpgmaycie_10.jpgmaycie_09.jpg
