Swimming Beagle

A couple of days ago our little puppy learned a lesson the hard way. Jess and I were in the backyard and she was feeding the fish in our little ponds that we have. Our puppy, Sophie, was getting quite close to the edge of the pond. She started to drink the water in the pond and try to get the fish food. As soon as we turned around we found one wet pup! Plus it was freezing outside. I hope she learned a lesson. 
Those tub pictures are actually very cool–I like that the pup is in such clear focus (do they call that subject isolation?)
I guess that is what you’d call it. I just shoot with the aperture wide open so the only thing sharp is the subject. That really draws your eye to it.

Great photography, love the beagle as I am a beagle person myself. Loved the wedding photo of the guys with tennis shoes on, at my daughter’s wedding the guys all wore black converse and the flower girls wore pink converse. The photographer got a pic of the guys shoes agains my daughters wedding dress and it was gorgeous!
Wow, Sophie looks almost exactly like my beagle Lucy.
When was she born? How much does she weigh? Lucy is 24 pounds and was born 11/31/06.
Lucy loves to swim also.

Sophie now weighs 21 pounds and was born 11/02/07. She is suppose to be a beagle/rat terrior mix.
