We were pretty lucky with the weather. It was a gorgeous evening. We wondered about downtown and got some pretty sweet shots. All of us became extemely hungry at the same time. Stopped by Hard Rock Cafe, had a nice burger and had some fun in the night light.

Kellie & Chris’s Wedding

September 25, 2007

This wedding was pretty smooth. They got married at the All Saint’s Church and the reception was at the Heights Fire Department. I met one of the coolest coordinators, Kelly Balfour. She was a blast to work with.

Henry & Wendy’s wedding

September 17, 2007

This past weekend I went down to Dallas with a good friend of mine and an awesome photographer Craig Davis (Studio 563). Craig was the head guy and I was a second hand shooter getting the fun angled shots. The event went very smoothly, and we got some pretty sweet images.

My New Camera

September 14, 2007

Last week I was viewing another photographers work and was impressed with his polaroid images. This gave me the idea to put together my own little polaroid. I bought a cheep Holga medium format camera, which are $35, I already had the polaroid back that was collecting dust next to the other vintage cameras. With a little epoxy and duct tape, I got myself a pretty sweet camera. It’s something to play with and create some pretty artisic images.

Stephanie & Tom’s Engagement

September 10, 2007

Stephanie and Tom were very much in love as we walked around downtown this afternoon, very dark clouds started to hover over us. It started to sprinkle slightly, and we hoped it would just pass over us, but no, the heavy rain kicked in. Fortunately there was an awning close by and it didn’t last long. Other than the rain, everything went great. The rain actually compensated for the extreme heat. Also I finally discovered a fire escape that was accessible, which produced some pretty sweet shots.

The Untouchables

September 5, 2007

I went down to the Sherlock’s Pub at West Gray and Shepherd Monday night to watch my friend JJ Worthen play. Him and a couple of friends threw together a band to have some fun called the Untouchables. These guys are phenominal. They play every Monday night and start at 9:45 I believe. I’m planning to make a habbit out of it. Its relaxing to lounge around, goof with the camera and enjoy some amazing live music, plus there’s no more smoke.

Ryan & Kammie

September 3, 2007

This wedding was at the Westin Oaks Hotel at the Galleria, and the reception was on the 21st floor where you had an amazing view of all of Houston. Ryan was overly excited and could not wait to marry Kammie. He couldn’t believe it was about to happen. They are both devoted loving Christians and it was a blessing to shoot their wedding.
