Random Texture Shots

My eyes were opened up to whole new world of photography today. Me and a buddy of mine, Adam Nyholt had the day off and decided to go on a random shooting rampage. He a macro lens for me to barrow. It was stinkin amazing. I definitely know what the next expensive business purchase is going to be.

Mischa & Devin’s Wedding

This was a beautiful day. Great for an outdoor wedding. It took me a while to get there ( 2 1/2 hours in traffic on Friday is no fun), but everything went smoothly once I got there. The couple was very relaxed and there to have a good time. Mischa & Devin tied the knot at the Le Jardin. Enjoy!

A while back I wondered what it would look like to do a backflip with a fisheye inhand. I figured what the hay, why not dress up and take a crazy formal self portrait. The camera is okay if your wondering. Well am I?

Felicia & Doug’s Engagement

Doug and Felicia were a relaxed couple willing to do whatever. That makes the shoot much more enjoyable, for me and the couple.

Erica & Jose

Erica & Jose were a lot of fun. They got married at the beautiful St. Joseph downtown, and then partied the night away at the Crown Plaza. We tried to take some cool shots just walking downtown, which we did, but that was the windiest I’ve ever seen Houston. Certainly not safe for a girl wearing a vail.

Carla & Van’s engagement

This was a great shoot, Carla & Van were smokin’. It was my first time to have a videographer tag along though.

To end the shoot we stopped by Zake to have some sushi at Shepherd and Alabama. This last photo was shot infront of the Bookstop. At first glance I know this looks kinda dirty but…the sign actually says “Half off on all adult hardback covers.” I just thought that was kinda funny.

Vegas Baby! Yeah!!

I’m finally posting a few from this crazy trip. These shots don’t do the trip justice.

This was the crew of guys I was hangin’ with. They made the trip stinkin’ sweet! Michael Norwood, Corey McNabb, David Burke, Tom Flint and Andy Peterson. This was photo booth next to Jessica Clair’s booth selling the Shootsac. We tried to set the record with #of guys in the photo booth. We manged to get 9 in there.

That’s the back of Mike Colon’s head. One of the best in the world. I lost $200 that night, the experience was worth every dollar.

This made the trip. The last night I won the DWF poker tournament, roughly $1000 bucks. That paid for the trip.
